Animal Aid was founded in 1998. We take in cats and dogs on their last day from County shelters. Bandit's Buddies, INC

BBR was founded in 2009 by Sandy Polly in honor of her beloved Border Collie, Bandit, who she rescued at 3 weeks old in 2002. Sandy recognized the need for a second chance rescue in the Central Valley, where euthanasia rates are the 3rd highest in the country. BBR takes dogs (many chihuahuas and smaller breeds, with the occasional larger breed) from high kill shelters, who are eleventh hour dogs scheduled to be euthanized, usually for space. We rely 100% on volunteers and donations!

Catmandu is an alternative-style shelter for homeless cats/kittens needing new forever homes. Our cage-free, group-home setting provides adoptable cats with a low-stress environment that transitions them from old home to new with minimal trauma and distress. Strays and fraidy-cats with trust issues are given the time and TLC they need to go from scaredy-cats to adoptable housecats. Feral-born kittens are tamed, receive medical care, are spayed/neutered, then placed in loving forever homes.

Catnip Casa Cat Refuge offers a safe place for a ninth life for senior and special needs cats. We also support TNR (trap/neuter/return and maintenance) for community cats. Our Love & Cuddles Pet Respite Care program provides short-term foster care for pets when senior owners are hospitalized. The Love & Cuddles program partners with community service organizations to keep pets in their homes, reduce the burden on shelters, and support a more positive outcome for senior owners.

Cause for SB Paws is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization comprised of San Bernardino area residents who care deeply about our animal care and control issues. We take in dogs from the streets, shelters, and owner surrenders in the San Bernardino area. We are a small private, donation-funded, volunteer-run animal shelter. We provide a safe home with food, shelter and medical care for about 60 animals until they find a new home. We need funds for general housing and medical expenses, including spaying and neutering and heartworm treatments.

The foundation of our program is education. We average 20-25 canines at any given time and 90% of our rescue population is comprised of the American Pit Bull Terrier. We work with canines from any and every background, whether it be a bait dog, seasoned fighter or the abused. We are a no-kill rescue/rehabilitation in that we will never euthanize for space. We will NOT adopt out a canine that is a threat to society. We are advocates of the American Pit Bull Terrier.

Dogs are Deserving Rescue

Our goal is to rescue and place our dogs in loving homes. We are an all breed rescue with an emphasis on saving the most misunderstood breed; the Pit Bull. We are a foster based rescue who helps to heal the scars inside and out of abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs. Healing Our Veterans

Identify veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress disorders. We then vector these veterans to clinics where their brains are scanned to determine the damaged portions of the brain. Once the degree and location of the brain damage has been determined the resident physician will prescribe hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for treatment. The number of treatments will be determined by the degree of damage. At least 40 but usually 80 treatments will be required.

Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization leads the way as the oldest and most successful all-breed cat and dog rescue on the eastern side of Contra Costa County. To date, H.A.L.O. has successfully placed over 10,000 dogs and cats into loving homes, since 2001, giving these wonderful animals, and their humans, new lives. H.A.L.O. is an all volunteer organization. All cats and dogs are lovingly cared for in our fosters' homes.

Looking Glass Animal Rescue's a 501c3 animal welfare org dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, hoarding situations, puppy mills, animal fighting rings & more. We welcome all animals in need, but specifically focus on animals that are often overlooked due to age, breed, special need or an illness or injury requiring immediate, often costly, medical attention that shelters are unable to provide. LIR is a food pantry serving Loudoun County residents. We supply perishable and non-perishable food items directly to our clients. This past year, LIR served more than 15,000 individuals and distributed over 1.3 million pounds of food. We serve approximately 500 families a week and almost half of those served are children.

Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue

We find families for pets who have lost their homes for one reason or another, but we provide free training support for families considering rehoming their pet due to behavior problems. This training helps keep animals in their homes and out of shelters. Muddy Paws also provides financial assistance to pet owners whose pet has suffered a life threatening injury or illness that they are not able to afford, preventing senseless loss.

Nova 94 Feet AAU Youth Basketball Program

The Nova 94 Feet AAU Youth Basketball Program forms selective youth basketball teams that play competitively around the Washington DC Metro area, Northern Virginia, and nationally, against other similar programs. We have over 300 boys and girls in the program that play on teams from ages 7-18. Many of these players will continue to play basketball in college, some on scholarships, and it is our goal to help them get there.

Nuzzles & Co Pet Rescue and Adoption

Nuzzles & Co is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill organization located in Summit County, Utah. In 1990, a group of volunteers founded our organization, originally known as Friends of Animals Utah, to come together to find homes for animals in need. Since then, we have found homes for over 13,000 pets. Our mission is to protect animals by providing a loving, nurturing place where they can get healthy and learn positive behaviors and then we find loving homes for each one of them.

Offender Aid and Restoration (OAR)

Since 1974, OAR has been helping men and women coming home from incarceration make a successful transition back to our community. We serve Arlington County and the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church. Those coming to OAR have no where else to go. They are at high risk of going back to jail or prison. We help them with food, clothing, transportation and provide housing and employment assistance. "OAR held out the hope for my future until I could claim it for myself," said Lee, OAR client.

We are a non profit all breed animal rescue that helps primarily dogs and cats at greatest risk of euthanasia and death due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment find loving adoptive homes. We are 95% volunteer based. We have been around since 2012 and in 2014 we acquired our first adoption shelter facility.

Pibbles & More Animal Rescue was started with the belief that no animal should die unwanted. After seeing the abundance of Pit bulls in shelters we decided to try to do something about it. We pull dogs from death row in the NYACC shelters as well as from several gassing shelters. We all have the hope that one day we will be a no kill nation. Until then, we rescue as many dogs as we can, get them medical treatment and put them into foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Approximately 100 elephant and 5 rhino are slaughtered every day in Africa for their ivory and horn, respectively. We fight the elephant and rhino poaching crisis by researching and raising money to fund drone and ground surveillance technology for vetted game parks in Africa. We also focus on education in the United States because approximately 30% of recently poached ivory is sold in the US.

Seneca Valley Trout Unlimited (#369)

The Seneca Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited is a local Maryland voice of National Trout Unlimited. TU’s vision is to conserve, protect and restore North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. We partner with other organizations to: restore Beaver Creek in Washington County; maintain other cold and warm water streams in the area; teach youth and adult fly-tying and fishing; assist with Project Healing Waters outings for military veterans; and have fun too!

We Will Survive Cancer

We Will Survive Cancer (WWSC) is a 501(c)3 not for profit, tax exempt organization. WWSC will raise money to serve as a conduit to organizations and individuals to assist the families of cancer patients and address the myriad needs of managing a family, to include, but not limited to child care, family counseling, managing household finances, arranging family transportation to visit the patient, and to provide general assistance to the families of the cancer patients.

We are a non-profit no kill animal rescue in Kentucky. We are one of the few cage free rescues in the state. We treat all animals with love, respect, and gentleness. Yellow Ribbon Fund

The Yellow Ribbon Fund provides practical support to injured service members, their families, and caregivers while they’re at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, and other military hospitals. This support continues after they return to their hometowns through emergency financial aid, adaptive fitness and sports, wellness programs, and taking care of the caregivers who put their lives on hold to care for their wounded, injured, or ill service member.
