10 Lives: A New Beginning Cat Rescue
We are a 501(c)(3) organization that gives at-risk cats & kittens from the shelter environment a new beginning at life. We rescue cats and kittens that are at high risk of euthanasia. Some of our rescues come from shelters that still use gas chambers as their way of declining the over population. These poor furry souls were brought into the world by humans and hundreds are being unexplainably killed in inhumane ways. You can help us be the voice they desperately need!

Helping “women affected by any cancer” means that the woman herself may not have cancer – she may be the caregiver of a family member or friend with cancer.

Animal Aid clinic and adoptions
Animal Aid was founded in 1998. We take in cats and dogs on their last day from County shelters. We provide the necessary care at our clinic and find them forever homes when they are well enough through our adoption center. We focus on neglect, injured and cruelty cases. We have a free/low cost spay clinic, a cat sanctuary for stray cats and a thrift store that helps to support our work. We are able to take in an average of 120 cats and dogs each month that would otherwise be put to death.

Without the Foundation’s assistance, many of the students would not have access to the educational support they need to achieve their full potential.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)
The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) is the largest companion animal shelter in Maryland. BARCS takes in over 11,000 dogs and cats of all breeds and approximately 1,000 exotic, wildlife, and other small mammals each year. BARCS also provides families the opportunity to adopt a loving companion animal that is spayed or neutered and vaccinated at BARCS.

Bandit's Buddies, INC
BBR was founded in 2009 by Sandy Polly in honor of her beloved Border Collie, Bandit, who she rescued at 3 weeks old in 2002. Sandy recognized the need for a second chance rescue in the Central Valley, where euthanasia rates are the 3rd highest in the country. BBR takes dogs (many chihuahuas and smaller breeds, with the occasional larger breed) from high kill shelters, who are eleventh hour dogs scheduled to be euthanized, usually for space. We rely 100% on volunteers and donations!

Bayhawks For JDRF
The Chesapeake Bayhawks have partnered up with JDRF to help support their efforts to end type 1 diabetes through both research funding and advocacy.

Beak n Wings
We are located in Kansas City and have been helping parrots throughout the Kansas City area. We are the only licensed shelter exclusively for companion birds (mostly parrots) in the KC area. Our goal is to take in homeless, unwanted, or abused parrots, "rehabilitate" them, and find them good, permanent, loving homes. BNW also strives to educate the community on the special needs of these wonderful pets. We promote good health, enriched lives, and loving homes for our feathered companions.

This foundation serves musicians facing aggressive cancer. Donations go directly toward getting these musicians into a studio with professionals and tangible result for them and their families during what is otherwise an unsettling time for them These songs have provided pride for those who have survived cancer and solace for their survivors.

Cancer Prevention and Treatment Fund
Every day researchers are studying ways to prevent and treat cancer more effectively. Not all that information gets to the people who need it the most. The Cancer Prevention and Treatment Fund is a life saving charity that helps children and adults reduce their risks of getting all types of cancer and assists them in choosing the safest and most effective treatments. We cannot be bought! We don’t take money from companies that sell medical treatments.

Our mission is to care for those who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan. By providing the services of our national and local area V.A. Service Officers free of charge to those members and other veterans who request professional assistance in preparing and defending their claims for federal veterans benefits. We remember that it is the individual veteran and their their family who have volunteered and put their lives on the line for the rest of us.

Catmandu
Catmandu is an alternative-style shelter for homeless cats/kittens needing new forever homes. Our cage-free, group-home setting provides adoptable cats with a low-stress environment that transitions them from old home to new with minimal trauma and distress. Strays and fraidy-cats with trust issues are given the time and TLC they need to go from scaredy-cats to adoptable housecats. Feral-born kittens are tamed, receive medical care, are spayed/neutered, then placed in loving forever homes.

Catnip Casa
Catnip Casa Cat Refuge offers a safe place for a ninth life for senior and special needs cats. We also support TNR (trap/neuter/return and maintenance) for community cats. Our Love & Cuddles Pet Respite Care program provides short-term foster care for pets when senior owners are hospitalized. The Love & Cuddles program partners with community service organizations to keep pets in their homes, reduce the burden on shelters, and support a more positive outcome for senior owners.

Cause for SB Paws
Cause for SB Paws is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization comprised of San Bernardino area residents who care deeply about our animal care and control issues. We take in dogs from the streets, shelters, and owner surrenders in the San Bernardino area. As you can imagine, many of our rescued dogs have been through a lot: abuse, neglect, never living inside a home or knowing the love of humans, etc. All of our dogs live in our foster homes until adopted.

Choctaw County Animal Shelter
We are a small private, donation-funded, volunteer-run animal shelter. We operate in an area where there are no other shelters and there is a great need to help the many homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. We provide a safe home with food, shelter and medical care for about 60 animals until they find a new home. We need funds for general housing and medical expenses, including spaying and neutering and heartworm treatments.

Our mission is to provide a fun, learning environment for the devoted, committed basketball player who wants to improve their game. We focus on skill development, striving to help players improve their ball handling, and passing, while increasing their understanding of offensive and defensive concepts. Our church is a small Vietnamese church with the majority of our parishioners are refugees. Our church is self served and don't have much capital funding to help maintain the church conditions. We also have a school teaching both religious and Vietnamese language. We depend mostly on the donations of the parishioners to help maintain the school as well.

In an effort to minimize the victimization of child abuse victims, The Bessemer Cut-Off Advocacy Center, Inc. DBA/ The Clay House Children’s Center, Inc. facilitates a multi-disciplinary team approach to intervention, investigation, prosecution and medical and therapeutic treatment of child abuse victims. This team recognizes the right of all children to have a safe childhood and they come together in one “child focused” location to provide comprehensive services to child abuse victims.

Coalition of Advocates for Shelter Animals
CASA is a fairly new rescue and has only been in existence since June 2013. Since that time we have rescued over 300 cats and dogs, TNR’d 45 cats, adopted out 240 cats and kittens and 28 dogs. We have given numerous lectures on dog and cat safety, and the truth about animal shelters at schools, fairs, and businesses.

Detroit Bully Corps
The foundation of our program is education. We average 20-25 canines at any given time and 90% of our rescue population is comprised of the American Pit Bull Terrier. We work with canines from any and every background, whether it be a bait dog, seasoned fighter or the abused. We are a no-kill rescue/rehabilitation in that we will never euthanize for space. We will NOT adopt out a canine that is a threat to society. We are advocates of the American Pit Bull Terrier.

Our principal program Tepeyac OB/GYN is a pro-life medical practice where one-third of the pregnant patients are uninsured or underserved. Dogs are Deserving Rescue
Our goal is to rescue and place our dogs in loving homes. We are an all breed rescue with an emphasis on saving the most misunderstood breed; the Pit Bull. We are a foster based rescue who helps to heal the scars inside and out of abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs. In addition, we strive to make sure our dogs serve as ambassadors for the breed changing misconceptions in the minds of the uneducated. We also be focusing on helping to ban BSL laws.

Enduring Hearts funds the most promising research being conducted to increase the longevity of transplanted human organs and related tissue transplants. Our grant awards specifically target research benefiting pediatric heart transplant recipients.

Healing Our Veterans
Identify veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress disorders. We then vector these veterans to clinics where their brains are scanned to determine the damaged portions of the brain. Once the degree and location of the brain damage has been determined the resident physician will prescribe hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for treatment. The number of treatments will be determined by the degree of damage. At least 40 but usually 80 treatments will be required.

Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization leads the way as the oldest and most successful all-breed cat and dog rescue on the eastern side of Contra Costa County. To date, H.A.L.O. has successfully placed over 10,000 dogs and cats into loving homes, since 2001, giving these wonderful animals, and their humans, new lives. H.A.L.O. is an all volunteer organization. All cats and dogs are lovingly cared for in our fosters' homes.

Looking Glass Animal Rescue's a 501c3 animal welfare org dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, hoarding situations, puppy mills, animal fighting rings & more. We welcome all animals in need, but specifically focus on animals that are often overlooked due to age, breed, special need or an illness or injury requiring immediate, often costly, medical attention that shelters are unable to provide. Loudoun Interfaith Relief
LIR is a food pantry serving Loudoun County residents. We supply perishable and non-perishable food items directly to our clients. This past year, LIR served more than 15,000 individuals and distributed over 1.3 million pounds of food. We serve approximately 500 families a week and almost half of those served are children.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund provides practical support to injured service members, their families, and caregivers while they’re at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, and other military hospitals.
